Supporting Transparency, Accountability, and Fairness for Optometry Students
Supporting Transparency Accountability and Fairness for Optometry Students
The New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians fully supports optometry students and the increasing advocacy from optometric organizations for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) to address the ongoing issues of NBEO Part II score changes. We urge the NBEO to strive to reestablish trust with students, educators, and the optometric community and uphold standards of professionalism and integrity.
The NJSOP affirms that optometry students represent the future of the profession and deserve the same level of professionalism as they demonstrate in their commitment to entering the field and serving our diverse patient populations.
